  • 1991:
    • The company was established. The same year we took over a factory that went bankrupt 2 years before.

  • 1992:
    • We bought our own trawler.

  • 1994:
    • The old building was destroyed and this year we started to build a new updated factory.

  • 1995:
    • The new building was finished and we started to produce frozen filet.

  • 1997:
    • We stopped the filetproduction and started with wet salted Fish and freshfish export.

  • 1998:
    • We establish Cape Fish Sales and registred the trademark: Cape Fish.

  • 2000:
    • Totally the companies had a turnover of 200 mill kr. We was approved through ESA and got permission to buy and receive frozen fish from 3th countries.

  • 2006:
    • We invested in a production line for King Crab. Our plane was to strt producing cooked,frozen Cluster. The first year we bought 30 tons.

  • 2007:
    • We sold the trawler, but kept the deliverance demand.
    • This year we bought and produced 180 tons King Crab.

  • 2008:
    • The Crab bacame the most important product this year. We bought and produced 1.000 tons and exported mostly to Japan and USA.


    • We took over a factory in Kamoyvaer and implemented this company in Storbukt Fiskeindustri AS.


    • We also started with a new production: Stockfish.

  • 2009:
    • The financial crises worldwide are also influcted our company. The sales of wet salted fish have been dramatically reduced.


    • We decided to start to produce and manfacture dry-salted fish (Klippfisk).
